it’s the end of another week! It’s been 3 weeks that I am back in Kursk! It felt as if it was just yesterday that I left home. I really cant wait to finish this year and go back home!!
I would like to share about the series I’ve finish watching since I came back!

This is the Asian’ s CSI. It’s called Forensic Heroes. Even though this is not the first time TVB produced forensic series, there are stil some cases that is copied from CSI. Ok, just one case. I would highly recommend those who are interested in investigation movies to watch this!
Next..Bitter Bitten..hhm…honestly, this is the first time I knew that the english title is this. Not the latest series by TVB but it protrays a lot of tourism places in a place nearby HK. It is about treasure hunting, puzzle solving adventure series. Only recommended for those who loves to think, solve puzzles and adventure series. At first, I wanted to give up watching it but then, I shouldnt waste the source here…since I dont have any tv, I might as well appreciate the series that is available.
The series I am current watching is a production of Mediacorp, Women of Times. Sorry, I couldnt post up any pictures because I couldnt find any..but there is a link there!
Alright! I think that is about it. oo…I forgot, I also watched a comedy by Mediacorp, staring Joe Tay. Yup..it’s really relaxing and funny. I cant find any picture or link to it, but it is called Women Of Leisures. Though the title might sounds kind of boring, it is not! Haha~
The chapter for Operative Sugery has come to the end; so, here are some memoirs of this cycle…
well, it has been a very productive cycle to learn so much about operative surgery. This semester, we mainly concerntrate of abdominal cavity, pelvic cavity and their operations. Like the picture above, maybe some of you have seen it on the previous post..but if you notice, there are a few snapshoots taken which are different.these pictures are all taken by my friend using their camera phone! tat’s why i want a camera phone…so i can capture pictures and blog about it!
A New Chapter – Radiology
Now, I am having radiology cycle..which is the studies about radiography…x-rays..etc. it’s a 4-hour class a day for one and half week. At the end of the cycle, I will have to sit for the final exam on Radiology. This department is situated 20min walk away from my hostel. I plan to walk there each morning and walk back after the class. It’s not as far as you might think it is. If I walk fast enough, I can reach my hostel in 15 mins. Not bad for excercise, eh?
finally, it’s our operating day! i wont describe much because it’s very cruel to treat such lovely animal this way! here are some pictures i would like to post up! but we’ve learnt the preparation before surgery…how we are suppose to wash our hands and make sure what we wear into the operating room is sterile. fear not! we used all sterile instruments! so, the dog was not in danger..but the thing I am worried about it carelessness of the fellow students! As this is our first time operating, the teacher practically just threw us the dog and everything, then leave us alone to do the procedures. At first it was chaotic but after a while, the teacher came in to see what we are up too.
my operation was tracheastomy…it is to insert a canula into the trachea..but praise God that the dog was too small for the canula to fit, so, we only expose the trachea and stitch it up! but it took us 2 hours to do the simple exposure.
My role in this operation was to be a nurse. Yes…nurse..just because I am a girl, I should be a nurse. well, wat i can say! tat’s the mentality of men!I would like to give all credit to nurses because without them, any surgery wouldn’t be successful! Nurses are like the backbone of surgery because they are there to prepare and help out the surgeons. Without nurses, surgeons cant do the work properly!
So, future surgeons…never look down on a nurse! Because she is bridge to cross over to the other side, in other words, you need her to have a sucessful surgery!
a friend told me, that the song, Come back to Me part 1 and part 2, is not by the same artist, se7en. At first, I strongly disagree, because I searched for the songs according to the artist name. And they all came back with the same singer, se7en.
But i decided to give myself the benefit of the doubt. I watched the video, both videos again and collected some pictures, as shown below. I made comparison of the 2 singers in the vidoes.
Also, I did some research, Come back to Me Part 1 was realised in the year 2003, while the sequel of the song, Part 2 was realised in 2006.
Now 3 years difference is a BIG difference. Did he really changed so much? From brown curly hair to straigh black hair? He did lost some weight too! amazing how people can lost weight so easily. it could be the stress at work!
Finally, I’ve concluded that Come Back To Me Part 1 was released on March 8, 2003 in the album Just Listen. While Come Back To Me Part 2 was released this year in March 8 in the latest album entitled, 24/Seven.
So, yes, the answer is…he has changed since the released of his first album!
I just noticed a new shop opening in Evropa, last Sunday. The opening day was yesterday (15/09). Yes, it’s the Yves-Rocher outlet in Kursk, Russia! And praise God, the items sold in there are all in english!
I am planing to buy a toner from this outlet at the price of 99 roubles…it’s offer price, normal price is 175 roubles. Well, to convert to RM, divide by 7. It’s not very cheap but it’s offer item!
Have anyone used this brand before? I first heard of this brand, if I am not mistaken from Jasmine. She used to be using this cleanser, which they are stil selling it at this time! Not bad, eh? I totally forgotten about this until Lynnxuan bought a cleanser and a moisterizer from KL 2 years back! If I never heard of this brand before, I wouldnt even glance at it for a moment! So, I believe, everything that happens in the past, paths the way for our future!
nothing BIG happened, everything was the same except that we were suppose to operate on the dog today! I prayed earnestly and stood in faith that there will be no dog for the operation day! Praise God!! the dog was not available…but according to the teacher, we will have to wait til Wed, everyday, to see if there is any dog so we can have the operation any day! So, I’m stil standing strong and praying that there is will no dog for the whole semester so no one will need to operate on this poor thing! God is faithful! and in all things, God work for a purpose!!
another testimony I would like to share…at 3pm, I had Operative Surgery lecture. The sky looked like it is going to pour. The thought of bringing an umbrella lightning through my mind but I quickly erased it off because my umbrella is very heavy. As I stepped outside, I prayed to God, that it wont rain when I go back from lecture later. As the lecture was half way going on, the sky looked even darker and as if a heavy storm is coming!! During the break, all my groupmates went home and their excuse was that it is going to rain soon….as the second half of the lecture begins, the sky got brighter and brighter!! Before the lecture ends, it was already shining brightly!
Praise God, He is faithful!! Even in small things, God will hear us and bring us through!
after a few lessons on operative part of the abdomen, we finally haf practical lesson on what we’ve studied..cut and sew –> incision, suture.it’s harder to suture compare to sewing..it’s totally different when u sew on clothes and when you actually suture someone’s body part!
our first attempt was suturing the intestine..it’s not merely suturing that we have to, we had to do the whole procedure of resection a part of it and the connect it back. How? it’s not as easy as it sounds like…or as creepy as it seems to be. Ok, it’s not intestine of a pig or cow, k! it’s from a cadaver. Not very pleasant smell, heavy smell of formaline. But after soaking it in water for a few days, the smell was slightly removed.
I wont mention all the detail..but i realised, I have some passion for surgery….The problem is, I am left-handed..but not a BIG deal, because I hold scissors on my right hand! Who says left-handed cant be a surgeon!! Just need more practise, and it’ll be perfect. When you put effort into something, you can achieve what you’ve dreamed of! So, dont ever give up despite how the world may view you!
On Friday, I might have an examination on operative surgery…practical examination where the whole class will do some experiment on a… DOG. Tracheastomy, laparostomy, spleenectomy, exposure of carotid artery. It’s practically cut and stitch up the dog. If it dies, then it means FAIL! Honestly, I am totally against that. I pray that there is no dog available for this operation! Then we dont need to do such a cruel act!
Here is a picture of a very cute dog! Look at it…do you ever want to harm an animal?? So cute and adorable….so fragile, loyal and lovely!
So, NO to ANIMAL EXPERIMENTATIONS!!!
since i came back, a couple of things has changed. firstly, everyone, 9 out of 10 people has changed their handphones to a newer one….hp with mp3 player and camera. proudly to say, i’ve changed mine too!! i changed my Motorola C350 to Nokia 2100. I am totally proud about this exchanged I’ve made with my youngest sister. Why? by this barter exchange, i am able to save up to RM 1000 of my daddy’s money! how wonderful. this mooney can be put to use in other financial need of our family’s life…more important area. For me, it’s just a small sacrifice. Even though deep in my heart, I would love to have a mp3 player and a camera phone, but I believe, there are more important and useful things in life that is more worth to spend on. For example, a massage chair at home, a new swing at home, and so on. When i look around in the lecture hall, everyone holding a new hp with camera and mp3 player..i could only pray and ask my God to bless me with one in the future. Surprisingly, alot of people has changed their hp to Sony Erricson…a new brand compare to Nokia…just 3 years ago, hardly anyone would consider to buy other brand of hp beside Nokia..but now, there is more competition for the Nokia Company. Not bad, eh?
what else has changed? new hairstyle? yea..tat definately! some people had put on weight…and some had lost weight….for me, i’ve gained about 4kgs..and it’s pretty obvious!! I cant even fit into my short pants that I left in Kursk a summer ago. It’s kind of tight and this really hit me in the face…I’ve got to lost some weight!!!despite tat, many people stil can remain the same style as they were before the summer break!
The story about how I gained so much in just 2 months…all the credit to the breakfast and Pearl milk Tea!! haha…but i can say honestly, I did not regret having any of those. The time spent with my dear sisters(Lynnx, Lynthi and Lynna) and cousin(Ning Jie) was really great. The moments when we would buy Pearl Milk Tea and tapao back home. Wah..our record, I guess was 3 times per week! And those breakfast outing with lynnxuan and ning jie…was fabulous!! Yummy!!! Talking about it made me hungry! Haha!
OK..I’ve got to go back to study my Operative Surgery! Will blog more this coming week!
